How to get dimension security groups working in the new reports module?

Summary:

The new reports module seems to not enforce dimension security and our users are able to see entities outside of their security group that's assigned in the dimension. Does anyone know the solution? I migrated a report from financial reports to reports and that's when the dimension security is lost.
