clone an environment using rest API without inputing the epw file path.

I'm looking to make an API call to clone environments, but I'm using an AWS cloud solution (Lambdas) to run the python script that makes the call. From my understanding of the documentation, an .epw file path needs to be submitted for the "targetEncryptPassword" param. Is there a way to just input an encrypted string value for the password?
