Sales Order type can be changed after submission, is this the expected operation?

Summary:

Hello Oracle Community,

Scenario is that in a user created Sales Order originally as [Stock Point Sale] Order type in Revision 1 but then changed into [Dropship sale] Order Type in Revision 2 afterwards.
We checked some Oracle documents and it seemed that you cannot change the order type because there is a seeded constraint not allowing update when lines exist. And this is Oracle standard functionality.
However, we test it in the test environment.
We can change the [Order Type] from stock point sale to dropship sale.
Is this the expected operation that you can still edit it when creating the revision not ready for shipment?

Howdy, Stranger!
