In VBCS how to apply Aggregate Function to a Calculated Field

Hi There

I have two business objects the parent is Header and the child object is Lines .The child business object has a calculated fields and I want to have an aggregate field for that on parent object but I am not allowed to do so.

when I try to use calculate value with a formula the filed from the child object does not have a prefix


I referred this documentation and created a field trigger under child object with update business record as action but this does not seem to work. Can anyone please help
