Remove Edit Capability from the Reports Shared Folder but Retain Edit Capability in the My Folder

Summary:

We are trying to update report permissions to remove the edit capability from the shared folder but retain the ability to edit in reports in My Folder. We have confirmed that the user does not have the BI Admin. The user does have BI Consumer and BI Author marked as read only (screenshot 1) yet they still have the ability to edit (screenshot 2). We tried to remove the BI Author role from the Manage Permissions configuration, but it removes the edit capability in the My Folder as well. Does anyone know how we can accomplish this?
