Certificate issued "Leave is in a block of 7 days". UK Statutory Maternity Pay is overpaid in Pyrol.

Summary:

UK SMP is showing overpayment in quick pay. In our config, UOM in Absence type and plans is Calendar days.

2024 SMP weekly rate is £184.03

Should have been Calculation :-

=184.03 / 7 days = 26.29.

Currently our system shows

Daily SMP in quick pay to employee is 36.81 (Per day).

It could happen because the weekly rate is divided with 5 days. = 184.03/ 5 days= 36.81.

We believe it should be as per 7 days or as mentioned in "should have been calculation".

Recent testing update mentioning now :-

I missed one thing to mention here that the final few days, which did not constitute a full week, were not paid in plan use. As a result, we were issued a certificate stating that "Leave is in a block of 7 days," meaning that the remaining days in the end of maternity leave is not a set of 7 days. In order to include those five days of payment under plan use, we had to void that certificate in the system.

Howdy, Stranger!
