Back dated Termination for employees in error due to payroll processed

Summary:

Hello,

We are trying to terminate employees backdated, meaning to a date for which Payroll is already processed and payment is made. When submitting the transaction for Termination, below error is generated - You can't delete a calculation component that has been processed within a payroll run.

We understand that either we rollback the Payroll till the Termination date, We should be able to terminate the employee as of expected date or we change the date of termination post payroll completion period; would allow termination. Can we not terminate the Employee backdated and have retroactive termination?

Are we missing anything in the system; any insight to this? Please suggest.

Howdy, Stranger!
