Is there a way to cancel or reverse a credit memo?

I need help with a credit memo issue. We have a credit memo that was created in the wrong accounting period, and this discrepancy is affecting our AR aging report. The period in which the credit memo was posted is now closed. Is there any way to cancel or reverse this credit memo?
