Fast formula on pension output elements doesn't get called

Summary:

If a status processing rule and fast formula is added to the "Employee Contributions" subelement of a pension scheme, it never gets called.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

I have created a pre-statutory pension scheme as shown below. If I add a status processing rule and fast formula to the "Employee Contributions" element, it doesn't get called at all. My question is why, and is this expected behaviour?

In most circumstances, an element that is the target of an indirect result will call its status processing rule/fast formula, but here it doesn't. I am wondering if this is something to do with the Calculator calling the Distributor using an auto-indirect - maybe when using auto-indirection it doesn't support fast formulas when further indirections are made on the back of it?

Howdy, Stranger!
