How to send report output to external application?

Hi All,

We have a business requirement to send an email notification to a third-party application (ServiceNow). This email will contain personal and assignment details of a pending worker in the email body. While this can be achieved through bursting, we need to add a task in the onboarding journeys for HR specialists to verify the details before triggering the email to ServiceNow.

I noticed an onboarding task type "Report" where we can specify the report path. I wanted to check if this task type will be helpful for our requirement. If not, what other options do we have to ensure that HR specialists can verify the details before sending the email?
