Is it possible to fire event before select single component is clicked

Hi Experts

I have 2 select single components which call same SDP to populate the data but i wanted to know if it is possible to fire event to know from which select component the SDP is called so that i can pass the query parameter to the API accordingly.

Please help.

In short while clicking on select single component i want to know from which select single component the request has been made to SDP
