Is it possible to restrict view according to user department, and monitor access to requisitions?

We want to restrict access and explore the possibility of customizing the roles to allow users to view only the requests from their own department.

The department might have multiple users who make requests, and each user should be able to view their department's requests, but not those from other departments. The custom role that we created from the Advanced Procurement seeded role allows users to view all requisitions. When we assign this role to a user, they are able to search any requisition from any department within the company BU.

Please let us know the possibilities of customizing the role to allow users to view and receive only their department's requests.
