Date DFF Attributes in 810 inbound

We are testing the 810 inbound with Data data type DFFs in the payload but there are no corresponding XSD tags to pass these into the invoice lines. Need clarification on whether it's possible to do this by customizing the 810 schema.

When you go into cloud to configure the DFFs, when you select Date as the data type for the DFF, the system automatically prompts you to select a date attribute in the table column and these are associated to date value sets. This setup in actually what we want.

The 810 inbound XSD has date attributes at the header but no date attributes at the lines. We want to pass these date attributes at the line level. Is it possible to customize the schema to do that or do we need to create the DFFs as Character data types?
