Offboarding Journeys for Line manager

Summary:

Hi

We have noticed Offboarding Journey is not getting allocated to Line manager when we terminate an employee with back date (When does the termination take effect? in past) . But we see Offboarding Journey is getting allocated to Line manager when we terminate an employee with current date or future date .

Can anyone confirm if this expected behavior ? and also please let me know if there a way to configure to trigger Offboarding Journey to Line manager when termination is done with back date ,
