Mask the salary in change salary/manage salary page as per role

Hi,

Is there any way we can mask the salary info in the change salary/Manage salary page as per the role or just mask the salary info.

Let say if the salary is 15,45,987 , after masking it should be ,**, ** , *87. Only the authorised people should see the actual salary in the front end.
