Can I add Project data in an AP tax line?

I need to add Project data to an AP invoice tax line if possible

When we match AP invoices to Purchase Orders we need to add a tax line from the AP invoice. However, I cannot find a way to to add the same project data (project #, task, expenditure type) to the tax line? Can this be done? Is there specific setups that enable this?
