Filtering Profanity and Personal Information out of chat

I am trying to determine if there is a way to censor the text in a chat.  We work with people's private information and we need to have a way to censor if it is accidentally entered into a chat.  Additionally it would be nice to block profanity, but the main issue is to ensure our consumer's PI is protected.   I have searched the user guides and have not been able to locate guidance on how to configure this.  Thank you in advance.
