Payables Document Sequence Name not editable

Summary:

As per configuration, the payables document sequence name has deployed in the environment. However, it was not editable. Also, this document sequence is NOT used for the any payable's transactions yet. My concerns are:

1. Is it possible to edit the payables document sequence name even it's already saved?

2. If it's not possible in the application itself, do we have a REST API available to update the name of the document sequence?
