Guidance Needed for Title Normalization in Eloqua

We are currently implementing title normalization in Eloqua. This process requires checking if the contact title contains any of the over 5000 specific keywords that we currently have. However, we are encountering limitations with the existing Eloqua functionalities and need guidance on the best approach to achieve our objective.

Challenges:

Shared Filters Limitation:

Shared filters in Eloqua only allow us to use one keyword per filter criterion.

The maximum number of criteria that can be used is 15 per shared filter, which is insufficient for our requirement of over 5000 keywords.

Picklists and Lookup Tables Limitation:

Using a picklist or lookup table only permits exact matches.
