Report book synchronization issue

It seems there is a synchronization issue with the report book. When we change the POV in the report included in the book, the report book stops functioning properly.

Recently, we modified our report by moving a dimension member from the selectable POV into the fixed members in the rows.

After this change, when we open the report book, it shows the validation error as displayed below.

To fix this issue, we deleted the modified report from the report book and re-added it, which resolved the problem.

Could you please explain why this happens and how we can avoid the need for deletion and re-addition? Thank you!
