Is there any way to optimize the run time of fast formula in workforce compensation plan?

Summary:

We have one fast formula which is of type "Compensation default and override" in workforce compensation plan and length of the fast formula is approx. 700 lines, Also this fast formula is calling another two child fast formula's with the similar length. When we are running the fast formula using the formula tester, it is taking approx. 50 seconds to generate the output for a single employee. Is there any tool/approach to optimize the fast formula run time.
