Restricting job openings based on Roles or Eligibility Profiles in Opportunity Marketplace

Hi
We would like to be able to restrict the list of job openings for a group of users, so that only the relevant job openings show when they log in. This is because only specific job openings are relevant for them, and it gets lost amongst all the other job openings.
It is possible to identify these users by their Role or an Eligibility Profile.
We were hoping to make use of the system default saved searches, and applying it to users based on Roles, however it is only possible to have one system default. We also asked about using VBS to customise the page for users with this Role, which is not possible at this time.
