historic unposted journal entries to post on current open period

Hello experts,

We have few historic unposted journal entries from AP that needs to be deleted. The option to post those entries is performing the action into the historic period from the original journal entry its self.

I have 2 questions regarding this:

1. Is it possible to delete those entries thus not to have to post them?
2. Or to post those entries to the current existing period instead of the historic one.
