can we extend the Journey Survey?

Under Schedule Allocation, the end date is 31/07/2024. I updated the end date. However seems it is not being updated

I read this article from Oracle and it says "The journey assignment ends based on the configuration for End Recurrence. There’s no way to update completed periods in the schedule." ( )

So my question, is there a way to update the deadline?
