Unable to Change the Accounting Date in AP Invoice Tax Distributions

We are encountering an issue where we cannot change the accounting date in the invoice tax distributions. Here's what happens:

1. We navigate to the tax distributions section of the invoice and attempt to change the accounting date.
2. After updating the date, we click 'Save,' but the date reverts to the original receipt date.

Background

We follow the Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS) invoice process. In this process, once an invoice is created in Payables after the receipt of goods, the accounting date on the invoice is set to the receipt date because the ERS invoice is generated on the same day the materials are received.
