Creating Maintenance Forecast/Work Order across organization

We are investigating the use of the above 24B functionality for our client here in Australia and have come across the following scenario and will appreciate some clarity on the intended functionality.

Scenario: Create a PM program with 'Allow assets from other organizations' checkbox on. In the work requirement screen use Type as 'Item' and this includes a range of Assets from multiple operating Organizations. (for e.g., Org A and Org B). Generate the Forecast for the Work requirement and follow it up with creation of the Work Orders. An example of the result of the process is shown below:
