Limit on defining number of content sections of competency type template

Hi,
We have a business requirement wherein we may have to create around 130 content sections of type "Competency". These content sections would then be used in 18 different performance templates. We would like to know if there is any limit on number of content sections which can be created as such. We know that in a performance template we cannot have more than 10 content sections of profile content type. However, we want to know that is there a limit on overall content sections of competency type which can be created.
