Change the Accounting Period from Quarterly to Semi-Annual in Smartview

Hi,

This is to ask from your assistance regarding this matter.

Client asked us if there’s a possible way to format/have an options in Smartview from Quarterly basis (Image 1) to Half-Year basis – same as in TM1 (Image 2)

Initial suggestion to solve this problem was to group the Accounting Calendar from Quarterly to Half Year. However, upon further investigation, the Accounting Calendar cannot be changed after it’s in use. Please see details below.

Question:

  1. Is there any other way to group the calendar from Quarterly to Semi-Annually/Half-Year basis despite of what the Oracle document stated above?
