ASO Optimize Aggregation

Hi All,

I have a few questions regarding the ‘Optimize Aggregation’ job in an ASO cube. When pushing data values to the ASO cube and the ‘Optimize Aggregation’ job is run, does it reaggregate all months that have data in the system or just the month that was pushed? Are the aggregation times expected to grow as we add more months of data to the system, or will the aggregation time remain consistent as the previous months have already been aggregated?

Additionally, when we pushed the same data set to the ASO cube for a different period, we received the following error until we refreshed the system: ‘Failed to select any new views or all views that you requested to build exist already’. We also manually entered a few other intersections that didn’t have data in the prior month and still received this error. What is the potential cause of this error and what steps could be taken to avoid having to refresh the database?
