How to default a value for a date DFF in Assignment region (in Redwood)

Summary:

hi,

The ask is populate an assignment attribute with the proposed work relationship start date value (defined on the when and why section) of the Convert Pending Worker, how can I achieve this? (I have reviewed the VBS documentation on this and it seems very limited in detail, so I am struggling expounding upon it to infer next steps for my specific use case).

I have confirmed the DFFs can be defaulted but I have not been able to successfully default any of the date fields.
