How to offset Retro Entries for US overtime premium element

Hi Experts,

We have some overtime to pay from 2022. To do so we are running Retro from 2022. Now as retro is running for 3 years there are quite a few entries which we have already made payments and we dont want those to process.

Retro entries are not allowed to get deleted or modified. I tried to offset it by creating the offset entry for retro entry. I gave exact same input values and ran payroll. In payroll run I can see that the offset entries got processed but when running Payslip all the retro rows are showing up.

Have someone done this before?
