Problem with beneficiary designation and a interim rule

Summary:

We are trying to set up an Interim Rule for a Life Insurance Plan and are not getting the expected behavior. 

The steps in the current scenario: 

1 - Employee is enrolled in an option with beneficiary designation 

2 - Employee accesses self-service and changes enrollment to another option in the same plan. 

3 - The Interim Rule maintains the employee's current enrollment but without their actual Beneficiary Designation. 

If the certification is denied by the Benefits Specialist, the actual Beneficiary Designation will not be maintained. 

The expectation is that the employee's actual enrollment and their beneficiary designation will be maintained until the documentation is accepted. If the Documentation is Denied, the Employee's actual enrollment and their Beneficiary designation should be maintained.
