Payables Price % Tolerance subject to maximum amount Limit

Summary:

We have a requirement to create a tolerance where 10% of price variance is subject to a maximum amount of $1500. For example, if the price variance is more than 10% but that is making a variance of $100 which is below the maximum amount of $1500 so the Invoice should not go on Hold. But it is not working that way. The system checks both conditions independently. If the variance is more than 10% and even if below $1500 amount it will go on hold.

We followed the Oracle Note: How to setup a Maximum Amount allowed for a Price Percentage Tolerance (Doc ID 1455048.1).
