Taleo Offer Form - Custom Field Up/Down Arrows

Summary: We have a custom field called "Entry Rate". It's a number field that exists on the req - allowing a hiring manager to see the suggested hourly rate for this position.

The field also exists on the Offer Form, and has an Up and Down arrow next to the field. The up/down arrows seem to either add or subtract "1" from the Entry Rate value.

These arrows are confusing and do not really serve our process.

Has anyone encountered this and how did they resolve it?
