Developer limited VBS project resource having readonly access to build logs

Developer role is having complete permission on jobs, expecting a custom permission only to view the job build logs.
In our Devops implementation we have scm commit based pipelines which gets triggered when merge request is approved and merged. Developrs interaction with Visual Builder Studio is only to raise merge requests. Devops team have provided limited access to developers so that git commits and job configurations are not modified. But due to these restrictions developers are unable to view the deployment logs.
