Cant find the assigned journey after posting the request using REST API

edited Sep 3, 2024 7:48PM in Journeys 6 comments

Summary:

Trying to use REST API to assign the journey. I could see that it is returning the worker journey id, but can't find the journey online or in the PER_ALLOCATED_CHECKLISTS table.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

I am using the REST API /hcmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/workerJourneys/action/assignJourney and it did returned the workerjourneyid after executing POST. Sample payload below.

{

"PersonId": "123456789",
"PersonNumber": "1071",
"AssignmentId": "345678",
"AssignmentNumber": "E345",
"AllocationDate": "2024-08-24",
"TemplateId": "34634646",
"TemplateName": "Pulse Survey",
"TemplateCategory": "ORA_SURVEY"

}

Header parameters

Accept: application/json
Content-Type: application/vnd.oracle.adf.action+json

Tried this in Postman and SoapUI and both returned the workerjourneyid. Followed the below document. Please let me know if there is anything missing.

Howdy, Stranger!
