Make a job requisition DFF editable to a certain security role only

Summary:

Is there a way to make a Job Requisition DFF editable based on a security role? We have a business requirement to make the below job req DFF editable for employees holding a specific security role. Other than those people, it should be view only.

I removed 'viewable only' for the DFF at the setup page and tried to access the field via Page Composer but it won't work. Can someone please suggest or even confirm this is possible?
