Salary amount resets to zero when changing the salary basis for an employee

Summary:

When changing the salary basis of an employee, the salary amounts does not retain the previous salary or convert the original salary based on the new salary basis but resets to zero. This forces to enter the new salary even to enter the previous salary or add to the existing salary amount.
