ability to update supplier site location without creating new site?

Is there a way to update the supplier site location without creating a new site on the supplier? Seems unnecessary and with IDR so heavily reliant on the supplier site location assigned it seems like so much extra work if the user could just edit the location if the supplier moved or something.
