SMP is not calculating (Certificate generated - Employed Less Than 26 weeks)

Summary:

Hi,

Employee SMP isn't calculating in plan use and system generated a certificate saying - "Employed Less Than 26 Weeks".

So, employee has submitted the maternity leave without completing 26 week after hired, since there is a seniority date mentioned in system which makes the employee Length of service greater than 2 year.

In this scenarios, will employee entitled for SMP if considered the seniority dates. Please advice .
