Using an SFTP to share data between systems which have different column header requirements?

My team is trying to automate getting data from Eloqua into another tool we'll be using for customer analysis and surveys. We had hoped to share data between these systems via an SFTP site, but we're running into problems because of the different names for the same fields in these systems. (E.g. "First Name" in Eloqua vs "first_name" in the other tool.)

Has anyone found a way around this issue?
