Need to retrieve JWT token from vendor and pass search field to API

Summary:

Need to be able to retriever a JWT bearer token and use it to make calls to 2 vendor API's
One to pass a value for a search and then be able to select from a choice list returned

Once a selection is made then it will create an account record in CX.

What is the best practice to do this? Is it easier in Redwood rather than making a mashup?
