Directory/person search in Redwood - visibility of employees in different legal entities

From the latest Redwood update we are no longer able to restrict the security on the Staff Directory/person search, so all staff with access to Directory are now able to see staff from different legal employers.

We have approximately 15 external partners who buy into our payroll services and so all of their staff are on our system. Our internal staff should not be able to see the names and job titles of all staff from these external partners.

Is there any way around this? Or any plans in future Oracle updates to allow us to restrict the visibility of the search by the hierarchy?
