Issue with REST endpoint structure in Dynamic Table vs. Regular Table

Summary:

When I add a REST endpoint to a standard table, the endpoint structure appears, and I’m able to choose the fields easily.

However, when I use the same REST endpoint in a dynamic table by clicking 'Configure Layout' in Quick Start, I don't get the endpoint structure or the list of fields. All I get is the [] result. I am unable to choose the fields.
