Not able to select people group in several redwood MSS transactions

Summary:

In our redwood MSS transactions, where People Group is available, our People Group field will not let us make a selection using the lookup.

From the lookup list, if we make a valid selection, we cannot proceed:

I can however type in the value where I can populate segment 1 and leave segment 2 blank as we need. This works as expected in responsive.
