Payroll Element Results Register report is displaying suffix of pipe | symbol in Assignment Number

Summary:

Payroll Element Results Register report is displaying pipe | symbol in Assignment Number column for some of the employees.

Couldnt figure out why only a specific employees are having this suffix.

For example for some employees the assignment is appearing as "E12345 | E12345" and for majority appearing as E12345
