Descriptive Flex Field is not synchronized by position synchronization.

Problem Description

In Manage Enterprise HCM Information, we made configuration such that Descriptive flex field is synchronized by position as seen below.

On the hire an Employee screen, when selecting a position, the descriptive flex field does not synchronize while the other attributes does.

Is there another set up required or process to be run?
How can this be resolved ?
