Can I call fast formulas in our report data model

Summary:

Hi , We have a requirement to create a report on the basis of actions performed on a personnel (eg: transfer, promotion, contract change etc) occurs, the HR should be able to generate a document indicating all the benefits and entitlements change (element entries of the personnel ) indicating both before and after the change details . In my analysis I found that these element entries can be calculated from some fast formulas . But as the fast formulas cannot be called in our report data model , I am just trying to understand if we will have to
