AUTO response messages built into Taleo for Requisition Status

Summary:

I have a query with respect to the auto populating messages that is being sent to candidates.
There are AUTO response messages built into Taleo, for example there was a time when requisitions were raised and jobs advertised, but we needed to make changes to those jobs, therefore the jobs/requisitions were cancelled before deadline day, and TALEO emailed all the applicants automatically notifying them that the positions had been filled, which was not the case. Since there was changes to be made to the requisitions, they were cancelled but Taleo understood as filled and sent the filled status to the candidates/applicants.
