"FTE" for seasonal, part time and temporary employees

edited Sep 18, 2024 1:05PM in Human Capital Management 2 comments

Summary:

FTE / Headcount “how to” calculate for seasonal, temp and part time employees who don’t work year-round or full time (40) hours / week. FTE for someone working 52 weeks, 8 hours per day for 40 hours per week, it would equal 1 FTE = 2080 hours. Have you changed their working hours in the position or on their person management?

Overall, I'm trying to provide the managers with a very quick way to see how many vacancies they have left to fill for their student jobs. And whether they are over or under compliment in Oracle to compare it to our annual staffing budget. HCM hierarchy is used for our permanent full time folks but we can't seem to get our students to show correctly.

Howdy, Stranger!
